This is a select series of opinion columns I wrote for the Daily Aztec for three years. My topics varied wildly from politics to sin taxes to anything between.
I used two different kickers, or column names, during my tenure. The first was “The Mine Shaft Gap,” an homage to Dr. Strangelove. My newer, less obscure kicker is “Dewey Defeats Truman.” Once again an homage, but this time to the famously erroneous Chicago Tribune headline.
UPDATE 4/7/11: The Daily Aztec overhauled their archival system and I don’t have access to many of my articles now. I’m in the process of acquiring PDFs, but as of now, I will only link to the articles I have. Links lead to high-res PNG files, so they may take a bit to download.
