In November 2015 I had the opportunity to visit China for the first time since moving from Shanghai back to the United States in 2013. While in Shanghai I climbed to the rooftop of the first place I live there. The Riverview complex on North Suzhou Road and Tianshan Road on the out limits of Huangpu District. After getting to the rooftop where I spent many nights drinking crappy Snow beer and looking at the view I took a handful timelapse videos with my camera. The skyline, which now has the recently-opened Shanghai Tower, was a great way to get back into the feel of the city.
The second half of the video was part of my day trip to the Paris replica city of TianDuCheng an hour outside of Hangzhou. After I missed my train by back to Shanghai, I spent some time taking videos of the expansive Hangzhou East Railway Station.
